Today I'll be having some friends over and we'll be having a Mendhi party. I can't WAIT. The guest of honor is one of my coworkers, who is very VERY pregnant. We'll be henna-ing her tummy, hands and feet, in honor of her pregnancy, and to give her well wishes and energy as this has been a difficult pregnancy for her.

I'm really glad I sprung for high quality henna and setting oils from [link]. the adding of certain oils, called terping, coupled with extremely high quality henna means that we only have to leave our henna on for 3 hours, not wrapped and over night. We'll probably be watching one of my favorite movies, Ever After, because I'm not sure if everyone's up for movies I might more typically watch. You know, stuff like Underworld, Brotherhood of the Wolf, or The Others. I'd REALLY like to watch The Others today, I'm in the mood, but I figure we might keep it light.

Anyway, much tattooing and fun to be had today. Maybe I can pin the mom down for some photos once we wash off the paste?
