Today I'll be having some friends over and we'll be having a Mendhi party. I can't WAIT. The guest of honor is one of my coworkers, who is very VERY pregnant. We'll be henna-ing her tummy, hands and feet, in honor of her pregnancy, and to give her well wishes and energy as this has been a difficult pregnancy for her.

I'm really glad I sprung for high quality henna and setting oils from www.mehandi.com. the adding of certain oils, called terping, coupled with extremely high quality henna means that we only have to leave our henna on for 3 hours, not wrapped and over night. We'll probably be watching one of my favorite movies, Ever After, because I'm not sure if everyone's up for movies I might more typically watch. You know, stuff like Underworld, Brotherhood of the Wolf, or The Others. I'd REALLY like to watch The Others today, I'm in the mood, but I figure we might keep it light.

Anyway, much tattooing and fun to be had today. Maybe I can pin the mom down for some photos once we wash off the paste?
